Ivan Ascher is an associate professor of political science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the author of Portfolio Society: On the Capitalist Mode of Prediction, published by Zone in 2016. He will also be a fellow in the 2020-21 academic year at the Center for 21st Century Studies.
