Lodging

We have set aside a block of rooms for conference guests and presenters at the Hyatt Place in downtown Milwaukee. Located just a few miles southwest of the UWM campus, the hotel is close to a number of restaurants, bars, and other local attractions.

Conference guests and presenters can book rooms at a special rate of $120 plus tax per night. All rooms at the special conference rate are studio suites with one king bed, a pullout sofa sleeper, and complimentary Wi-Fi. (Please note that breakfast is not included in this rate but a light breakfast and coffee will be provided at the conference venue.)

Reservations must be made by Wednesday, April 3 in order to secure the conference rate. You can reserve your room through this link or by calling the Hyatt Place Reservations line at 1-888-492-8847 and indicating that you are with the “C21 Insecurity group block.”

The hotel’s address is 800 W Juneau Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53205.

Getting to Milwaukee

We recommend flying into Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Airport (MKE), or to either Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) or Midway Airport (MDW). From Chicago you can rent a car, catch the Airport Express bus run by Coach USA, or take the Amtrak train. The train does not run directly from Chicago airports, but you can catch it in downtown Chicago.
